New York City, NY (October 9th, 2024) – Balltime, the world’s first AI-powered volleyball platform, has partnered with the New England Region Volleyball Association (NERVA), one of the 40 regions of USA Volleyball. Through this collaboration, Balltime will offer its cutting-edge video analysis and recruiting tools to athletes, coaches, and families across the NERVA region, bringing AI-driven insights to volleyball clubs in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
The partnership includes access to Balltime’s AI-powered platform at a special discounted rate for NERVA-affiliated clubs, ensuring that athletes at all levels have the tools to excel in both performance and recruiting. Balltime already powers some of the top clubs in the NERVA region, including North East VBC, CMass Juniors, Boston UVC, MGA, Husky Volleyball, and Meraki. Additionally, roughly 15% of all NERVA teams are already using Balltime, reflecting the platform's growing presence across the region.
"We’re excited to partner with NERVA, a region that holds special significance for Balltime," said Dan Banon, CEO of Balltime.
"Some of the clubs in this area were among the first to embrace our platform, and it’s been incredible to see their growth and success. We look forward to continuing to support athletes and coaches in the region with our AI technology, making pro-level video and data tools accessible to everyone."
"We’re always looking for ways to add value for our member clubs, and partnering with Balltime offers an incredible opportunity to do just that," said Dave Peixoto, NERVA Commissioner. "With their innovative tools, we’re excited to see how this collaboration will support the growth and enjoyment of the game across our region."
Jenn Wood, Social Media Manager for NERVA, added: "With Balltime’s easy-to-use platform and access to highlight videos, we’re looking forward to being able to share more content from our region across our social media channels. The ability to quickly create and showcase top moments will allow us to engage with our community in new ways and celebrate the achievements of our athletes."
In addition to Balltime’s AI video analysis tools, this partnership aims to enhance the recruiting process for athletes looking to play at the collegiate level. The ease of video breakdowns, highlight creation, and sharing features will help NERVA athletes stand out to recruiters nationwide.
"Balltime has been a game-changing tool that has significantly improved our volleyball program this past season. The easy-to-use platform empowers our athletes to create stunning highlights, while also providing invaluable insights into stats for deeper film review for our teams. We are looking forward to seeing more volleyball programs in our region adopt this tool," said Paul McCormack, Club Director of CMass Juniors.
